Mary Julia Moore, artist and designer, was raised in a farming family in Mississippi. Her father, Luke, valued art, classical music and nature; he passed the appreciation of these things down to her. Growing up in the 1970s, Mary Julia often reflects inspiration and memeories taken from the decade’s decor, aesthetic, and hospitality. Her art often accompanied with a story from childhood, is a way to pay homage to her family and home state.
Mary Julia currently resides in Warren, AR where her husband serves as the fire chief. Her art studia is located in a wooded area of Bradley County, where she is assisted by her Great Pyrenees, Emily Dickinson, and her art assistant and right-hand lady Madison Dade.
Mary Julia has three grown children (Ben, Scout, and Asa) and is JuJu to two grandboys James and Noah… new grandbaby moore in coming in July 2026.
